| Members are reminded that our next General Meeting and in celebration of Purchasing Month, will be held at the Hilton Montreal Airport in Dorval on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 commencing with cocktails at 17:30 and the General Meeting and dinner starting at 18:00. Please feel free to invite colleagues and business associates to this special meeting. Attendance at this meeting is at no cost to district members who are registered with meals included. The cost for all other attendees is $35,00 payable at the door by cash or cheque. | We are honored to be welcoming Mr. Michel Ravacley who has agreed to be the special guest speaker for this meeting. In keeping with Purchasing Month, his talk will be built around Supply Chain Management in the Global Economy. Mr. Michel Ravacley is the Vice-President, Global Operations for The Hockey Company (CCM® JOFA®, KOHO® brands) responsible for Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Customer Service, Planning and Information Technology Services. Through its subsidiaries, The Hockey Company, headquartered in Montreal, Canada, is the world's largest marketer and manufacturer of hockey equipment and apparel, as well as National Hockey League authentic and replica jerseys. The company manufactures and markets products under the CCM®, KOHO® and JOFA® brand names. The CCM® HEATON® and KOHO® brands of goalie equipment are now prominent in the world market, while the JOFA® brand is the protective equipment of choice among 99% of NHL professional ice hockey players.
